Our Beliefs

St. Pat’s Core Values

These are the specific values that guide how we do everything at St. Pat’s. They are the specific ways the Holy Spirit has worked in our ministry over the years. When we live these well, we have seen fruit come from our ministry.

Courageously Attuned
We put effort into understanding how someone is feeling and respond to what they need in a nurturing way. We will always take the risk to know people and make them feel seen. It means when we are with someone, nothing else matters. We don’t shy away, we offer ourselves and resources before we have to be asked.

Making Jesus Real
We acknowledge the incarnation and reality that Jesus is present and active in our lives. As we foster a personal relationship with Him, it plays out in all areas, such as dynamic and applicable teachings, how we treat others, and how we prioritize our time. Our actions show that Jesus is tangible, relevant, and real. This is a continual realization for all disciples in every season of faith.

Bold Initiation
We live in courage, confident in where God is calling us. It is why we take risks, step out, and think forward. We go where others have not gone because we believe God has called and equipped us to risk for the sake of the broader Church. We move with purpose and always under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Free-Flowing Generosity
We live from a place of abundance and don’t take this blessing for granted. We give out of gratitude and from a place that is constant and overflowing. We respond to needs by offering our time, money, and resources with open hands, knowing that we are only the channel through which God blesses others.

St. Pat’s Mission Statement

Awaken the deepest desires of the heart.

Make Jesus First

We orientate our entire lives around Jesus—our families, careers, homes, finances, relationships, and even ourselves, making it all second to Him. It’s not about completely stripping these things away but having the courage to freely surrender it so that He becomes the foundation in which it all flows from. Faith becomes more than duty, but a joy we chase after.

We know to live intentionally requires a certain effort, the same is true for Parish life. We are a people always working to order our lives around what God wants. It is a constant action of crafting ourselves and our desires, from the way we offer mass and spend our time, to relationships and family life. The more we live out our faith, the more we model a life of faith for others.
