Small Groups

Location
St. Patrick Parish
6N491 Crane Road
St. Charles, IL 60174

Small groups are an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to deepen their faith, form lasting friendships, and find encouragement on their path to holiness. A small group typically consists of four to twelve people who regularly meet to connect with others and grow in faith.

Small groups can be composed of a uniform demographic such as all men, all women, couples, families, and youth, or they can be a mix of men and women in different age groups and stages of life. Your involvement in a small group can start anytime you’re ready! The Parish will have small group registrations twice a year. Still, you can reach out to Nic anytime to get more information and explore the possibilities of joining an existing small group.

We think everyone should be in a small group. It is up to you, the participant to decide if you’d like to be in a single-gender small group, a small group for couples, or some other mix; we want to help you find a group that you’ll be comfortable growing with. We have seen that small groups of peers/people offer more natural connection points for the participants to connect and grow together.

There are many benefits to joining a Small Group. In a Small Group,  you will be seen, known, and loved within a small and close-knit community. Your Small Group will also provide encouragement and support as you explore and grow in your faith.

We would love for your group to stick together for a long time, but each small group will only commit for a semester at a time. At the end of the semester, each member will have the choice to take a step back or recommit for another semester.

We want the small groups to be between 4-12 people.

Each group will decide the frequency of gatherings. We ask that each group meets at least once a month.

Small Groups can meet wherever. Homes, parks, coffee shops, or any place conducive to healthy conversation could work. We also have rooms available at the Church that could be used. To request a room at St. Pat’s, please email Jenny at [email protected]

Leader Training

Simply put, without Small Group Leaders there are no small groups.

We don't expect our Small Group Leaders to be perfect; we just ask that they love Jesus and love people. If you’re interested in leading a small group we do require online training that will equip the leader and share the vision of our parish Small Groups. Click the buttons below to begin training.
