Lauren and Dante, from St. Pat’s Youth, here! Over the next few weeks we will be inviting our parish community to continue to join us in the work of making a difference in the lives of our young people. But before we do that, we wanted to share a bit with you about the “why” behind the way we run our programming and events.

It’s clear that our young people today have a deep, unmet desire for belonging and purpose. From weekly youth nights for our middle and high school students to week-long summer camps, conferences, and retreats, everything we offer to the 11-to-18-year-olds of our community is geared towards introducing them to the person of Christ who is Himself the source of this belonging and purpose. Our hope is that our student’s involvement in our youth ministry program will lay the foundation for a lifetime of discipleship. 

Accomplishing this is only possible through the consistent generosity of our St. Patrick Parish family during our year Envelope Fundraiser. You can take a quick look at some of the major events last year’s fundraiser allowed us to put on:

We cannot thank you enough, for your continued encouragement and support over our past few years of youth ministry programming. And we genuinely believe that the best is yet to come! This year we’ve increased our outreach capacity in being present at local school activities, we plan to double the amount of high school students attending the Steubenville Youth Conference, and still to come (in just over a month) we’ll be putting on our first ever weekend Confirmation retreat. It has been such a gift to see the Lord transform the lives of our students and their families.
