LAWS OF FAST & ABSTINENCE All who have completed 14 years of age are to observe complete abstinence from meat and meat by-products on Ash Wednesday, Good Friday and the Fridays of Lent. All those 19 and under 60 years of age are to fast on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday. Fasting means a limitation of the amount of food consumed, that is, one meatless meal and two light meals with no eating between meals on each of these two days.
Morning Prayer begins at 8:20 a.m. prior to the 8:30 a.m. mass every day at the Downtown church. Booklets are available as you enter the church.
